DP: Fix it Up

Well now.

You know guys, as a barrel racer, I can say that knocking barrels sucks monkey balls. I hit one two years back and I have a dent in my shin bone from it. As I quote my instructor, the legs of a barrel racer ain't pretty.

I've said before Michelle has multiple scars on her legs from hitting barrels over time, well here's a fresh one to add to her collection. Her leg is sliced open and she's got a lovely bruise rainbow going on (yes they can get that bad and even worse in some cases, if you go on Instagram and browse #barrelracingproblems you'll see what I mean) Now we all know Michelle's a toughie, even after hitting a barrel she'll smile through the pain and look like a winner to the crowd, but when no one's around she'll let out her emotions because it really hurts. Like, REALLY bad. She doesn't normally let other people help her when she's hurt because she doesn't want to seem weak, not to mention she doesn't like the attention. Danny went over to her to see what was up and found her trying to patch it up and with tears in her eyes. Being the good boyfriend he is, he sat her down (despite her protesting)and put his powers to good use. After wiping the blood away, he forms an ice chunk and places it gently on her leg, and she turns to be very grateful for that, offering him a small smile.

So yeah, for once she's not scowling, smirking or looking tough. This is the true Michelle, the complete softy under her feisty exterior. Even though she doesn't act very tough around her friends, Danny, besides her family, is one of the only people she trusts enough to let her defenses fall completely. you could say she turns to putty in his hands :U

This takes place when they're about 16, right before their junior year I would think.

I couldn't be bothered with a background, again. Sorry OTL

Also this is one of probably 2 entries for #DP-Shippers-United's contest. I may do another one, I'm not sure.
