"What is your wish?" Desiree asked Michelle with a genuine smile.

Danny and Michelle looked at one another and smiled. She then gazed at Desiree and took a deep breath. "I wish Danny was never killed by the demon ghost." as Desiree's hands began to glow pink, she glanced at Danny and added quickly. "And I wish we were reverted back to that night in June when he was killed, so we can replay that night the right way and that only he and I remembered this whole ordeal!"

Her cell was dark. She sat on top of the lumpy, dirty mattress, with her arms curled around her legs. She didn't bother to talk to anyone except two other people. Even then, her conversation was in a low whisper.

Her hair fell knotted on either side of her face, the sweat on her brow trickling down slowly. Her heart pounded wildly, so loud that it thundered in her ears. The heat of her own power pulsed around her like the Texas summer sun.
